Safe Environment
Child & Youth Protection at St. Ann Catholic School
Our Commitment to Child Safety
Promise to Protect. Pledge to Heal.
St. Ann Catholic School is committed to providing a safe environment for every child in our community. We follow the Diocese of Raleigh's Safe Environment Program, which requires all clergy, employees, and volunteers working with children to complete background screening and certified safe environment training.
Safe Environment Training
The Diocese of Raleigh Office of Child and Youth Protection hosts regular trainings on recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect. These sessions are mandatory for all clergy, employees, and those working with children in diocesan programs, including school volunteers.
