What are you thankful for?

Mercy is exercised through

genuine works of charity.

“Pope Francis values the extraordinary. The Holy Father declared that the Church will celebrate an extraordinary jubilee Holy Year of Mercy, beginning Dec. 8, 2015, the feast of the Immaculate Conception.”  In keeping with the spirit of this event, our school will hold a tea in honor of Grandparents and those in our community that we consider “honorary grandparents” to our students on December 8th following 8:30 Mass at  9:00 a.m.
We have been focusing on hospitality and kindness in the classroom. This tea is a form of putting those lessons into action.  The students will decorate tables and serve their guests refreshments. Please pass the word to your children’s grandparents or to a loved one that your child finds special to them so that they may attend this event. We appreciate your assistance in helping our students in their efforts to come closer to Jesus through service to others.
